Actress Shannon Guess Richardson has been arrested for sending ricin laced letters to President Barack Obama and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
The New Boston, Texas native initially blamed her husband, Nathaniel Richardson (and father to her five kids), for sending the letters.
Guess has played a bunch of small character roles. She was a “walker” in an episode of The Walking Dead. She has appeared in episodes of The Vampire Diaries, and Teen Wolf.
Shannon also has a lot names. She started out as Shannon Rogers, and then Guess, and then Guess Richardson.
Why would the actress try to have her husband arrested? Investigators aren’t saying, but her husband’s attorney says that he had just filed for divorce.
According to the AP:
John Delk, who represents Nathaniel Richardson, told the AP on Thursday that his client had filed for divorce and may have been set up by his wife. He said his client was cooperating with authorities investigating the letters, which were sent last month to Bloomberg, his Washington gun-control group and the White House threatening violence against gun-control advocates.
According to IMDB, Guess Richardson “donated bone marrow in 2011 to save the life of a little girl with Leukemia” and “Shannon has 2 tattoos. She has a tribal design on her lower back and butterflies on her stomach.”
Now she can add to her resume a charge for trying to kill the president with ricin.
