Veteran KVUE reporter Melissa Gale calls it quits after 20-years

KVUE morning anchor and health reporter Melissa Gale resigned from KVUE on Wednesday, ending a 20-year run with the station.

Gale posted the following statement on her KVUE Facebook page:

I announced today at the Station that after many great years at KVUE, reporting to the wonderful people of Austin on things that I hope have been very important to them, I’ve decided to take some much needed time off, and explore some other opportunities. I want you all to know that I’ll miss you all. Thanks again, for welcoming me into your homes all these many years.
