Does anyone remember old Austin?

AUSTIN, TEXAS – Austin sure has grow’d up over the years. It’s still a great city, but some old timers still harken back to the days when it was a little less busy, a little less techie, and had no need for “Keep Austin weird” marketing campaigns.

We’re talking about the days when Cactus Pryor was on the air, Whole Foods was a small, casual, downscale market and bike paths were sidewalks.

Here some information on the folks who produced this video:

This is great!  Love seeing Old Austin.  It brings back so many great memories :) I took Austin for granted when I was younger…I wish my children could know Austin the way I did!  My girls got a kick out of seeing their “Poppa” (Mike Clark) in the baseball picture.

Thank for reminding me of why I never left here :)

    Gregg,
When I saw the video and heard the song, I couldn’t help but repost on FB. As a result, a friend of mine wants to download the song for her ipod…or phone. Is the song available for purchase anywhere? I can’t seem to find anything online except YouTube.
