AUSTIN, TEXAS – Detectives with the Austin Sex Crimes Unit are looking for the public’s help in identifying the man in an indecent exposure case that occurred on Christmas Day.

The scene is approximately 12 blocks East of where 29-year-old Esme Barrera was murdered on New Year’s Day. Austin Police have not made any connection between the two cases, but the suspect descriptions and the composite sketches in each case are very similar.

Police aren’t releasing many details about the flasher case other than the incident happened in the 300 block of East 31st Street at around 5 p.m. on Christmas Day.
