Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes spend Saturday at Lady Bird Lake

After yours truly tweeted that Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes were at Red Bud Island on Saturday, one lucky follower got to meet the smoking hot couple.

University of Texas student Cameron Cooper sent us some exclusive info on the couple, who were enjoying their day off at the dog park

Wearing a long skirt and sunglasses, Eva wasn’t super “coupley” with her Hollywood hunk, according to Cam. She reports that the incognito couple was unbelievably nice and though they backed into the woods anytime people were near, when Cam approached they both introduced themselves and shook her hand.

She asked if they are liking Austin and they both said they love it and remarked on how beautiful it is. They then asked if she lives in Austin and when she told them she attends UT, Ryan said, “You are very lucky to live here.” Eva asked what Cameron studies and while they chatted about her Corporate Communications major, Ryan toweled off his dog (a mixed breed named George) in the back of their car. He then let Cameron pet the mutt and told her it was very nice to meet her.

When asked for a picture, Ryan said, “Well, we’re actually on our day off so we’re trying to stay away from pictures. I’m sorry though.”

The previous day another fan had asked for a pic, to which Ryan responded with a no because he filmed that day. So, it sounds like he’s just not down with posing for pics.

Twitter friend @Mungub did not ask for a pic when he ran into RG on the trail on Friday.  He did, however, tell him welcome to Austin and got a smile and a nod.
