Exclusive: Lady Gaga in Austin working on Robert Rodriguez’s new film Machete Kills

A source tells me that Lady Gaga is in Austin doing work on Robert Rodriguez’s movie sequel to Machete called Machete Kills.

In 2011, it was reported that the mother of all little monsters was interested in scoring Robert Rodriguez’s next film. She’s a Rodriguez fan. What about a cameo? Hmm…

Antonio Banderas is making a cameo in the movie. An extra on the film told me that Antonio was in Georgetown filming early this week. So, why not Lady Gaga?

On BET’s “106 & Park” show, she made comments regarding her aspiration to score a film:

I think I’d love to do a film score with Robert Rodriguez. When I saw the movie Machete, and you know the song Americano on the album (Born This Way)? I thought, ‘Why the heck did I not send him this record?’ It would have been perfect. I think he should just make another sequel.
